The Gathering
The Gathering meets each Sunday morning at 9:40 in the chapel at Dawson Family of Faith. Our purpose is to be reminded that we are part of a greater story, to be reminded that we are not alone, to remember the faithful work of Christ and celebrate and worship together. We long for this context to be informally reverent. Dress is immaterial. All are welcome.
In this space you will experience, singing, silence, responsive readings, prayer, fellowship, scripture learning, giving of tithes/offerings, testimonies and time to commune with God.
Children
All children are welcome. We have a secure child-care area for pre-school and we have a special optional time of worship for 1st and 2nd graders mid-way through the worship gathering. We encourage families to worship together.
Childen can get involved in small group bible study during the 8:30 hour or in one of the Life Groups that have spiritual formation for children. (Look on the Life Group Page for further information)
